Seasonal Bouquets/Bunches Spring '26
We are preparing for Spring Magic. We've tucked ranunculus corms-fingers crossed for a rainbow of blooms!

Heriloom variety Garlic bring a new level of flavor.
August 26' Garlic Harvest
We are as anxious as you for the next batch of garlic that's quietly growing right now in the garden. Garlic grows slowly throughout the winter (9 months). The hardneck varieties of garlic will produce "scapes" three weeks before the start of harvest. They are so delicious roasted, similar to roasting asparagus except a nice garlic flavor; a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and parmesan, roasted, compliments any meal, as a topper for a casserole or even a salad when cooled.
Some of you may be familiar with the "Music" variety of garlic. We are testing them in-field and may offer a very limited batch late summer 2026. Check out our link here to learn the varieties available next season.

Herbs so fresh you can smell the sunshine in them!
May 2026 Herbs
When out harvesting the herb beds the air turns electric with fragrance. The basil grows fat and sweet in the summer sun, and like a miniature pine, the resinous Rosemary stands tall. Every herb harvested (Basil, Cilantro, Italian Parsley, Marjoram, Dill, Lemon Thyme, Rosemary, Oregano and Sage) picked at their peak. Which is your favorite? bouquet garni, individual dried herbs, perhaps mixed seasoning or Herbed Sea Salt? We produce a variety of culinary herbs so you too can have that same experience hitting all the senses.

Raw, Mountain Honey....
2026 Honey Flow
We are very excited to raise bees this Spring in the garden. Our hive is ready to receive a new Nuc and Queen as early as possible. Usually, the pick up is in late March or early April. A healthy hive will get to work when the temperature is just right, filling those cells with golden delicious, amazing, flavorful, drops of nectar. Did you know they do a wiggle dance to tell their friends how to find the blossoms?
Huckleberry November '26
Huckleberry, the bountiful jewel picked after the first frost....
New to Ridgecrest Gardens this Fall was Huckleberry and what an unexpected prolific producer it is! Starting with 24 seedlings, 21 bushes successfully grew. This variety of Huckleberry grow to over four feet tall, branching out at least the same and positively dripping with extra large blueberry size-berries. What to they taste like? Deep, fruity, a hint of blueberry, and floral.

Building the Soil is our passion!
Building the soil is our passion? Absolutely, yes!
Permaculture and regenerative farming practices allow us to create a balance between the land and the needs of the Market Garden. We focus on building healthy soil after the beds are established without ever tilling the soil again.
